Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Experienced Assistant Manager to help lead a high-volume service location in Prattville, AL. The role blends hands-on shop duties with front counter and back-office responsibilities to deliver fast, quality automotive service.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, oversee daily operations, scheduling, and inventory, and uphold safety and brand standards while building a team customers trust.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and lead location in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Help onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects brand values.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety protocols while meeting store goals.
