Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, part of Sun Auto Tire & Service, is seeking a Store Manager for a new Conway location under construction. The role offers a competitive pay range of $80,000 - $160,000 per year plus bonus, with opportunities for career advancement within the Sun Auto network.

The Store Manager will lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage the team, and ensure a customer-first experience while upholding safety and quality standards. A strong automotive leadership background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive service, tire, retail, or store management.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing store performance, operational plans, KPIs, budgets, labor, inventory, or P&L-related results.
• Strong customer service, sales, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment with attention to detail and accountability.
• Comfortable using POS systems and store performance data to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver a professional, customer-first experience that builds trust, repeat business, and long-term customer relationships.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop teammates to drive performance and retention.
• Set clear expectations and maintain a positive, inclusive, safety-focused work environment.
• Analyze store metrics and execute action plans to meet or exceed targets (sales, car count, gross profit, labor, inventory).
• Own store-level P&L by driving revenue growth, cost control, and inventory discipline.
• Manage parts and tire inventory in the POS, including receiving, invoicing, returns, and warranty tracking.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism; partner with leadership as needed.
• Be the primary store contact for vendors, facilities, and equipment needs.
