Job summary

Delta World Tire in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily service operations, assist customers, and promote repair and maintenance services. This role oversees staff, ensures store standards, and helps meet sales goals.

The position offers $50,000–$70,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits, including insurance, retirement, paid time off, and advancement opportunities. A valid driver’s license and ASE certification or ability to obtain are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license and pass an MVR/background check screening.
• Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, in person and on the phone.
• Inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify and verify service needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations to customers.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories by understanding product requirements.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for approved services; update customers.
• Process cashing out with multi-point inspection review and warranty explanations.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
