Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC in Bradenton, FL is seeking an automotive service desk associate to engage customers, share expert product and service knowledge, schedule appointments, and drive sales of parts and services that keep vehicles performing at peak efficiency.

You will handle phone and in-store inquiries, process work orders and register transactions, support vehicle inspections, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of mathematical concepts and apply formulas for commissions/discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store. Engage customers, schedule appointments, build trust, understand needs, and sell parts and service.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders and register transactions, and knowledge of vehicle inspections.
• Assist in customer care, work orders, register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase ordering.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns; address customer service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct express automotive services, including tire work, oil changes, and basic car maintenance; ensure safety procedures are followed.
