Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking an energetic team member to engage customers across the service desk, sales floor, and register. You will apply product knowledge to recommend parts and services, schedule appointments, and close transactions while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to apply basic math for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in-store and on the phone.
• Schedule appointments and sell parts and services to improve customer vehicle performance.
• Assist in work order and register transactions and maintain shop organization.
• Follow policies on cash handling and customer complaints.
• Perform express automotive services and basic vehicle inspections.
• Maintain safety procedures and a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management, and customers.
