Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an Automotive Service Manager in Winston-Salem, NC. You will oversee daily store operations, sales activities, staff, and customer satisfaction, reporting directly to the Owner.

You drive service quality, margins, and store performance while ensuring guest relationships stay strong. You will lead service writers and technicians, manage estimates, ensure parts quality, and close daily financials.

Qualifications

• 5 years work experience in Automotive Customer Service & Service Sales.
• Supervisory or management experience in Automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applications.
• Experience in TekMetric software application preferred.
• Graduation from an industry recognized service training program preferred.
• ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current NC driver’s licenses in good standing.
• Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Manage office & shop personnel and daily operations.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the current Employee Handbook.
• Take necessary corrective and/or disciplinary action for employee non-compliance.
• Ensure quality of work, attitude and performance meets or exceeds customer satisfaction goals.
• Direct the smooth, orderly and organized operation of the store.
• Maintain a personal positive attitude and positive communications at all times.
• Direct Service Writer's development of customer estimates and work orders. Assign work orders to the technicians.
• Ensure selection of quality parts and target margins are achieved.
• Open and close stores on a daily basis; perform daily accounting closing and balancing procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, audits and report analysis; report results to Owners.
