Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily auto-service operations, oversee scheduling, staff, and customer satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, KPI tracking, inventory control, and providing legendary customer service, with responsibilities including opening/closing, coaching, and ensuring compliance across OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of eighteen years.
• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is a plus.
• A minimum of three years of related experience is required.
• A minimum of three years of managerial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily business operations, including scheduling, staffing, customer satisfaction, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure all services are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company, safety, and industry standards.
• Assist in analyzing and monitoring KPIs to track shop performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in developing strategies for customer retention and future business growth to maximize sales and profitability goals.
• Provide legendary customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through professional interactions and communications.
• Assist with overseeing inventory levels, inventory shrinkages, business costs, and expenses to meet budget targets.
• Act as a key holder for opening and closing procedures, deposits, and security concerns.
• Assist in reducing workplace safety concerns through training and policy enforcement.
• Ensure test drives are conducted correctly and in line with policy and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per OSHA and company policies.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting automotive repair and safety.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on business plans, directives, initiatives, and budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
