Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Gulfport, MS is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach technicians, and partner with the Store Manager to drive performance.

You will recruit, schedule, supervise staff, ensure safety and OSHA/MSDS compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service while meeting store goals. This role requires strong leadership and 2+ years in automotive service management.

• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide support in recruiting by assisting the Store Manager on final employment decisions.
• Supervise technicians and service personnel, plan and schedule duties, assign work, and follow up on completion.
• Coach service department teammates on operational issues and service standards.
• Work with customers in sales, service, and customer opportunities.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service department personnel.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring compliance with programs and restocking.
• Ensure store safety and proper equipment layout.
• Supervise shop area and equipment for safety compliance.
• Coach personnel on enforcing wheel torqueing processes and proper inspections.
