Job summary

Northwest Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Torrington, CT is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This full-time management position is part of Sullivan Automotive Group, a family-owned Connecticut dealer group.

You will supervise service advisors, technicians and support staff, drive customer satisfaction and department profitability, and partner with Parts, Sales and dealership leadership to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service management experience is required.
• Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram experience is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage service advisors, technicians and support staff.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Recruit, train and develop Service Department employees.
• Monitor technician productivity, efficiency and shop workflow.
• Drive department sales and profitability while maintaining service quality.
• Manage warranty processes and ensure manufacturer compliance.
• Maintain staffing levels and effective scheduling.
• Collaborate with Parts, Sales and dealership management.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed; build team culture.
