Job summary

Colonial Group in Presque Isle, Maine is seeking a Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) to learn VIP management processes and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the location.

The M.I.T. will ensure safety compliance, coach associates, schedule staff, and support service goals while participating in ongoing training and workshops. This role is exempt and involves leadership responsibilities across daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Learn the VIP approach to building an extraordinary team for a differentiated customer experience.
• Learn VIP processes and be prepared to hire, develop, schedule, communicate, train, and coach associates.
• Proper scheduling of the team to meet customer needs during all hours of operation.
• Effectively communicate with the team via daily huddles and regular meetings.
• Train, support and deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions and solutions.
• Control dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians based on first available qualified personnel.
• Attend off-site meetings and training sessions as needed.
