Colonial Group in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Manager-in-Training (MIT) to learn VIP's automotive service leadership model and prepare to lead a team ensuring safe, high‑quality customer experiences at our location.

The MIT will develop the team, hire and train staff, schedule to cover all hours, enforce safety and policies, manage shop operations, and complete required certifications while delivering VIP standards.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and enforce safety policies.
• Learn VIP’s management processes and lead a high-performing team.
• Hire and develop associates, oversee LMS and vendor training.
• Schedule staff to meet customer demand across all hours.
• Communicate effectively and conduct regular team meetings.
• Train staff on VIP 5 for 5 customer education and manage work orders.
• Attend training sessions as needed.
