Midas Auto Experts in Trenton, NJ is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, directing technicians in inspection, diagnosis and repair while driving tire sales and maintenance services. The Co-Manager role is a developmental leadership position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of store or service manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all service technicians in the shop.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy work environment.
• Develop personal growth opportunities for staff.
• Establish goals by reviewing reports and outcomes.
• Lead by example and train team while aligning with company values.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and consult customers on repairs.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and prepare repair orders with parts sourcing.
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote services and financing options.
• Monitor quality of vehicles signed out and supervise up to 10 employees.
• Supervise inventory levels and manage ordering/receiving.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.
