Tuffy Tire & Auto 39030 is seeking a motivated Automotive Service Manager in Fox River Grove, IL. This role focuses on achieving sales results and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent, you will lead the service center operations and employee performance while promoting the quality of service. Ideal candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills, along with a knowledge of the automotive industry. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for achieving positive sales and profit results. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will be the Manager on Duty. Also, the Automotive Service Manager will be focused on promoting the shop and its services through outstanding customer service, shop cleanliness, and quality workmanship.

Location: 915 IL-22, Fox River Grove, IL 60021 (between Crystal Lake and Barrington)

Responsibilities

• Make Customer Satisfaction number one
• Identify customer concerns and needs
• Professionally review all completed inspections offering solutions and benefits
• Conduct the "Invoicing delivery" upon completion of services reviewing work performed, warranties breakdown, and scheduling the next appointment
• Assist the Store Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a service center and employees for top-line sales and profits
• Assuring all shop personnel are following the processes in place for vehicle inspections, sales processes, and safety procedures
• Assist the Store Manager in hiring and maintaining a staff of professionals that reflect the company culture
• Assist the Store Manager in controlling costs, shop maintenance, cost of goods, payroll, and quality control standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
• Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles
• Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
