Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Jasper, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead day-to-day operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, schedule staff for peak hours, greet customers, explain services, resolve issues promptly, and help build repeat business while maintaining a clean, safe, and high‑quality shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations in the store and step in to lead in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Schedule team members to ensure coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures, POS, and customer service standards.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings.
• Maintain inventory awareness for parts and supplies and ensure a clean, safe shop.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to stay aligned with store goals.
