Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Euless, TX location. This hands-on role splits time between service bay, front counter, and back office, supporting the Store Manager to deliver fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean store.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, help with scheduling, onboarding, and daily store operations while upholding brand standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, stepping in for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS usage, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting the brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies and place orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
