Responsibilities include scheduling shop work, prioritizing tasks, maintaining repair logs, preparing estimates, and coordinating with parts and service managers to keep work moving efficiently. A strong automotive background is required.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive technical knowledge as an auto technician, service advisor or service manager.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
• Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity and hours in accordance with department objectives and technician skill level required.
• Maintains an organized and up-to-date repair log and ensures proper repair order documentation.
