Job summary

Victory GMC of St Joseph is looking to hire an Experienced Service Consultant. This role oversees service orders and the service drive to ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.

You will provide concierge support for owner inquiries, manage technicians’ time, and distribute work efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction and coordinating with factories. Strong communication and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Pass drug testing, MVR/Insurability, background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and flow of the service drive to ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary.
• Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
• Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
