Job summary

Bruce Titus Automotive Group is seeking a customer service representative to engage with service customers and ensure an extraordinary visit. You will handle calls, schedule appointments, manage texts, and assist advisors with various tasks to maintain smooth operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, coordination across departments, and a commitment to a friendly, professional customer experience in a dealership setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule service appointments or take messages for advisors.
• Check service department voicemails.
• Monitor texting platform and respond to customers.
• Make follow-up calls to automated texts that were not answered by the manufacturer.
• Call/text special order customers to schedule appointments.
• Call and set up all we owe appointments and track on a Google document.
• Call/text customers with recalls and schedule them for service.
• Prepare for next day’s appointments; verify parts and loaner cars are available.
• Document repeat repairs on appointments with a special flag and notify the manager by email.
• Greet customers entering the service drive and determine visit type; obtain basic info.
• Direct customers to the correct department and notify the team when someone is waiting.
• Call customers when license plates arrive and mail plates if requested.
• Create new car packets and key tags.
• Keep customer areas clean and stocked (coffee, snacks, water).
• Other duties as assigned.
