You will greet customers, write repair orders, explain diagnoses and timelines, provide estimates, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely vehicle completion.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Write accurate repair orders based on customer descriptions and inspections.
• Communicate diagnoses, repairs, and timelines clearly to customers.
• Provide cost estimates and obtain approvals before repairs.
• Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians to complete vehicles on time.
• Follow up with customers on status and notify of delays or further work.
• Upsell preventative maintenance and repairs based on inspections.
• Process payments and review repair orders at delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and conduct vehicle walkarounds to assess service needs and concerns
• Write accurate and detailed repair orders based on customer descriptions and technician inspections
• Communicate vehicle diagnosis, recommended repairs, and service timelines clearly to customers
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals prior to initiating repairs
• Coordinate workflow between customers and service technicians to ensure timely vehicle completion
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and notify them of any additional repairs or delays
• Upsell preventative maintenance services and additional repairs based on vehicle inspections
• Process payments and review completed repair orders with customers at vehicle delivery

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar customer-facing auto service role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and repair terminology
