Job summary

DARCARS Jacksonville is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to consult with customers, present repair options and warranty products, and write accurate estimates. In this role you will greet customers, collect vehicle information, explain maintenance requirements, schedule service, coordinate with technicians, and help drive CSI with excellent service.

18+ with a valid license; prior advisor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred.
• Minimum age 18 and valid driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information.
• Advise customers on care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Generate and provide complete repair estimates.
• Communicate completion times to customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls and maintain service appointments.
• Follow procedures for post-follow-up to drive return visits and CSI.
