Job summary

Coughlin Kia of Pataskala is seeking an experienced Service Writer/Advisor to be the primary contact for service customers. You will greet customers, review vehicle needs, perform walk-around inspections, and communicate expected service timelines.

In this role you will build relationships, upsell services by highlighting value, schedule appointments, and help ensure a positive dealership experience. Automotive or customer service background and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Coughlin Kia of Pataskala is currently looking for an experienced Service Writer/Advisor for our quick lube.

The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for all automotive service customers and responsible for building strong customer relationships. They greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up, sell and up sell services by emphasizing value, keep customers updated on services, field all live service calls, and take ownership of the customers' experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

• Works with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
• Advises customers on necessary and recommended services.

• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
• Schedules appointments with customer.
• Meets dealership's standards for repair and order production.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
