Job summary

Brakes Plus is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to lead the service department under the Store Manager. This role focuses on creating a motivated team, improving performance, and delivering an industry-leading customer experience at our Arizona store.

You will work closely with the Service Team to ensure efficient operations, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards in safety, parts management, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Advisor/Writer role.
• Strong leadership and store management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to mentor others and drive efficiency.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in sales, service, opportunities and adjustments.
• Create a highly motivated team environment.
• Supervise technicians and schedule duties, assign work and follow up on completion.
• Coach service department teammates on operations.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service staff.
• Manage parts inventory and restocking; update in-house parts as needed.
• Ensure store safety and proper inspections; maintain equipment layout and safety procedures.
