Chris's Car Care in Michigan City, IN is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to confidently guide customers, present repairs, and manage repair orders from start to finish.

Entry-level candidates may train up through parts, communication, scheduling, and shop workflow to grow into a full Service Advisor role. Monday–Friday schedule; competitive pay and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• . Have previous automotive experience and strong phone/in-person communication.
• . Be organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Greeting customers and identifying needs
• Building and managing repair orders
• Keeping customers updated throughout repair
• Reviewing technician inspections and testing results
• Presenting recommended repairs clearly and obtaining authorization
• Ordering, receiving, and managing parts
• Communicating with vendors and tracking parts
• Coordinating workflow with technicians and front counter
• Following up on declined services and ensuring a great customer experience
