Group 1 Hyundai SouthwestHouston is seeking a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers through their service journey. You will guide customers with clarity, document concerns, and create accurate repair orders while communicating with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely, quality service.

The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, meeting targets, and thriving in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing sales experience is required (retail, outside sales, hospitality, etc.)
• Automotive Service Advisor experience is a big plus (dealership preferred)
• Xtime & CDK experience is a plus
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to achieve targeted goals
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid in-state driver’s license and must maintain an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and accurately document concerns and service needs
• Create detailed repair orders with clear, transparent cost and time estimates
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments to prioritize work
• Provide consistent updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and any changes to scope or cost
• Deliver vehicles upon completion and review work performed for customer satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of products and warranties to guide service recommendations
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business
