Job summary

Bowser Hyundai of Chippewa is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process. The role involves coordinating check-in, estimating repairs, and communicating with customers from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have automotive dealership or repair facility experience, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to clearly explain services.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance is needed.
• Ability to explain repairs clearly to customers.
• Previous service advisor experience in a dealership or repair facility is preferred.
• ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect accurate vehicle information.
• Document customer concerns and needed services.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds to identify service needs.
• Explain recommended repairs clearly to customers.
• Prepare accurate estimates and repair timelines.
• Obtain authorization and verify payment methods.
• Coordinate with technicians during the repair process.
• Inform customers of repair progress and changes.
• Process warranty procedures when applicable.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Review work and charges at delivery and promote CSI.
