Job summary

Bowser Automotive Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and service technicians. You will document concerns, prepare estimates, and keep customers informed throughout repairs to ensure a seamless experience.

This role requires strong communication, customer service, and knowledge of automotive systems. ASE certification is a plus, valid driver's license required, and a professional appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive dealership or independent repair facility preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service requests.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and identify additional maintenance or repair needs when appropriate.
• Prepare repair estimates and communicate expected completion times.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide updates as needed.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Verify payment methods and administer applicable warranties.
• Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify customer concerns or completed repairs.
• Review completed repairs with customers and ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction (CSI) by providing outstanding service.
• Follow all Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.
