Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Columbus, OH is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor who serves as the primary link between customers and our shop technicians. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, review repairs, and communicate updates on costs and timing.

The role offers a starting base of $21.50 per hour with bonuses, full-time schedule including Saturdays, and a comprehensive benefits package. A high school diploma and automotive knowledge are required. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in automotive or fast-paced customer service/sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to communicate needs clearly.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification is a plus but not required.
• Pass pre-employment background check/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer calls, and schedule appointments.
• Review recommended repairs and services with customers for clarity.
• Communicate cost/timing/scope updates and document approvals.
• Distribute work to shop technicians and track progress.
• Coordinate warranty repairs, towing, shuttles, or rental vehicles as needed.
• Notify customers of upcoming inspections/maintenance.
