Freedom Ford, part of Generation Auto Group in Woodbridge, NJ, seeks a Service Advisor to bridge customers and the service department. You will greet guests, gather vehicle information, document issues, and prepare detailed repair estimates with transparency.

You’ll coordinate with technicians and parts, communicate progress, and secure customer authorization for repairs. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, automotive knowledge, and a customer-first attitude, with flexibility including

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with service management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Ability to obtain customer authorization for repairs.
• Schedule flexibility, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect vehicle information (VIN, make, model, year, mileage).
• Write up problems on repair orders and perform preliminary inspections.
• Test drive and evaluate issues as needed.
• Provide clear service recommendations with urgency and importance.
• Prepare and explain labor and parts cost estimates.
• Communicate with service dispatcher, technicians, and parts to coordinate work.
• Keep customers informed of progress and changes to estimates.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and signatures.
