Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor (customer-facing role).
• Automotive knowledge and terminology understood; experience as a technician is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Initiate service and repair orders based on customer concerns and vehicle performance.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Build accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, and deductibles.
• Communicate service needs clearly to customers and technicians.
• Provide status updates to customers regarding costs and timelines.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records; upsell current service specials.
