Job summary

Auto Plus in Marietta, GA is hiring an automotive service associate to greet customers, schedule appointments, and drive sales of parts and service while ensuring smooth transactions at the register.

You'll perform express services, maintain neat work areas, and follow safety policies. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and about 1 year in automotive or sales experience; training is provided for product knowledge and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic math skills for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store, engaging customers, scheduling appointments, building trust, understanding needs, and selling parts and service.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining productivity of the service business through work orders and register transactions, vehicle inspections, and knowledge of parts and service.
• Assist in various aspects of customer care, work orders, register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase ordering under management direction.
• Follow policies related to cash, credit, check, refund and return policies; address customer service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct express automotive services such as tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter/bulb replacement, battery testing.
