Job summary

Auto Plus in Clearwater, FL is seeking a full-time automotive service desk associate to welcome customers, schedule appointments, and guide them from the counter to the register with expert product and service knowledge.

You will handle work orders, parts and service knowledge, and express automotive services while upholding company policies and safety standards. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 1 year in automotive service are required; sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver's License.
One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
One year of sales experience preferred.
Must have basic knowledge of mathematical concepts for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store, scheduling appointments, building trust, and selling parts and services.
Organize and drive productivity of the service business through work orders and register transactions.
Assist in opening/closing, handling cash, and responding to customer service issues.
Explain processes and timelines to customers and ensure adherence to customer care standards.
Perform express automotive services and basic repairs, with focus on safety and quality.
