Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Service Desk/Sales Associate in Florida to be the first point of contact for customers, either in-store or by phone. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services that keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

You will manage service desk activities, handle transactions, assist with inspections, and support the management team while upholding safety and cleanliness of the shop. Flexible scheduling includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic math knowledge to calculate commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in-store and by phone; schedule appointments; sell parts and services.
• Manage service desk and register transactions; communicate timelines and processes.
• Assist with work orders, inspections, and basic shop duties under management guidance.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, refunds and returns; address customer service issues.
• Perform express automotive services: tire mounting, oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic repairs.
• Maintain shop safety and cleanliness; ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers; support management as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing duties where required.
• Comply with all company policies and environmental rules.
