Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-oriented associate to be the first point of contact for customers in-store and by phone. You will schedule appointments, build trust, understand customer needs, and upsell parts and services to keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

You will help manage work orders, handle transactions, and possess knowledge of service offerings. A valid driver's license and 1 year of related automotive sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to engage customers in-store and on the phone.
• Basic sales ability and willingness to upsell parts and services.
• Ability to perform basic math for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services to customers.
• Manage work orders, transactions, and service knowledge to support the service business.
• Assist management with customer care, opening/closing responsibilities, and safety procedures.
