Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a customer-focused associate to be the first point of contact in-store and over the phone. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, communicate timelines, and sell parts and services to help keep vehicles running efficiently.

Responsibilities include handling work orders and register transactions, performing routine automotive services, and supporting management with shop operations. A valid driver's license and a year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store; engage customers, schedule appointments, build trust, understand needs, communicate processes and timelines, and sell parts and service."
• Organize and support service business through work order and register transactions, inspections, and knowledge of parts and services.
• Assist management in customer care, work orders, register tasks, and inventory control.
