Job summary

Pep Boys is hiring at our Florida location for a customer-focused associate. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, promote parts and services, and process transactions at the service desk and sales floor. Prioritize safety, accuracy, and exceptional customer care in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves performing express services, maintaining an organized shop, and collaborating with management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction across all channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service or retail.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand commissions and discounts using basic math.

Responsibilities

• First contact point for customers in-store or on the phone; engage customers, schedule appointments, build trust, and sell parts and services.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders, transactions, and knowledge of services and parts.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register tasks, and store upkeep.
• Follow all cash, credit, refund and return policies and address customer issues with the team.
• Perform routine express automotive services and basic inspections, including tire mounting, rotations, lube, oil changes, and battery checks.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper wheel torque and fluid services per SOP directives.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management, and customers; help open/close duties where needed.
