Auto Service Experts in Warner Robins, GA seeks a personable Automotive Service Writer to be the frontline liaison between customers and our technicians. You will document vehicle symptoms, explain services in clear terms, and manage repair orders to ensure a smooth, satisfactory experience.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and basic automotive knowledge; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive customer service, sales, or service advisor/writer role.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and shop management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and handle inquiries courteously.
• Document vehicle symptoms and log issues on repair orders.
• Explain services clearly, including costs and timelines.
• Develop accurate estimates for parts and labor and obtain approvals.
• Coordinate and schedule service appointments efficiently.
• Monitor progress and relay changes to customers.
• Assist technicians to ensure materials and information are available.
• Handle complaints professionally and build customer loyalty.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in the system.
