Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise daily shop operations, promote services and parts, and act as the on‑duty manager when the store manager is away. This role emphasizes strong customer service and sales skills, with compensation of $50,000–$80,000 per year (hourly plus commission).

A professional appearance and reliable, weekday‑plus‑Saturday schedule are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Sales or customer service in automotive is helpful.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or automotive field.
• Professional appearance and process-driven mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 and available to work five days a week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone.
• Document customer concerns and inspect vehicles to identify needs.
• Recommend services and document referrals from technicians.
• Provide accurate quotes and update customers on progress.
• Cashes out tickets and explains warranties.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
