Job summary

Boyd's Tire & Service is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the sales and service workflow in our Central Ohio locations. The role combines customer service with automotive service oversight, acting as the manager on duty when the store manager is away.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, plus hourly pay and commission. If you have a customer-focused mindset and can drive store standards, apply today.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone using standardized techniques.
• Listen to and document customer's concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations to customers; document in files.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers on status.
