Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, powered by The Sun Auto Network, is seeking an Assistant Manager to promote all products and services and lead the shop team when the store manager is out.

You will greet customers, document needs, quote repairs, upsell services, track orders, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. Compensation is $50,000-$80,000 per year, consisting of hourly pay plus commission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and on the phone using standardized techniques.
• Document customer's concerns and inspect vehicle to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and document all recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for approved services.
• Cashing out procedures including warranty explanations.
• Follow up with customers post-repair to ensure satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for each customer.
• Other duties as assigned.
