Berman Kia of Lincolnwood is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team in Lincolnwood, IL. This full-time role offers a compensation package of $100,000+ annually, base salary plus commission, and ample opportunities for advancement.

You’ll greet customers, document service needs, prepare estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs. A one-year service writing background and strong customer communication are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Service Writing experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service needs and recommendations.
• Proficient in computer systems and automotive service software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Gather customer and vehicle information.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs.
• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts.
• Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines.
• Clearly explain completed work and associated costs.
• Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion.
• Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
