Job summary

Berman Kia of Lincolnwood is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team in Lincolnwood, IL. This full-time role offers a base salary plus commission, with expected earnings around six figures including incentive potential.

You will greet customers, document needs, provide accurate estimates, and coordinate service with technicians to ensure timely completion. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in service writing, excellent communication, and proficient use of automotive service

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Service Writing experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and earn customer trust.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented for documenting service needs and recommendations.
• Proficient with computer systems and automotive service software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Gather customer and vehicle information.
• Listen to customer concerns and document service needs.
• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage and history.
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts.
• Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines.
• Explain completed work and associated costs clearly.
• Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with technicians, parts staff, and team members for smooth workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
