Pep Boys Inc. in Houston is seeking an engaging Retail Automotive Associate to greet customers, schedule appointments, and drive sales of parts and services.

You will work at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register, ensuring accurate transactions and high customer satisfaction. You will perform basic automotive services, assist with warranties and returns, and partner with management to maintain a safe, organized store.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.

Responsabilidades

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, build trust, understand needs, communicate processes and timelines, and sell parts and service.
• Organize and supervise service business through work orders and register transactions, inspections, and knowledge of parts.
• Assist in customer care, work orders, register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase ordering.
• Follow policies related to cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns; work with management on issues and opportunities.
• Perform routine express automotive services including tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, and inspections.
• Maintain safety procedures and ensure correct service procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management, and customers.
• Handle opening/closing responsibilities as key holder; keep shop organized and compliant with policies.
