Job summary

NAPA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to leverage automotive know-how and leadership to run daily retail operations and grow customer relationships. You will support the Store Manager across all functions while maintaining sales responsibilities.

The role focuses on inventory health, labor scheduling, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and keyholder duties may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive after-market service or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Experience in parts store or retail management.
• Ase certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory health and scheduling.
• Sell and build customer relationships across channels.
• Lead opening and closing routines, cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
• Provide training and performance management for the team.
• Monitor store metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, asset protection and compliance.
