Job summary

Apple Autos in Minnesota is seeking an Automotive Quick Lube Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle data, and determine service needs. You will consult the vehicle file, promote labor, parts, and accessories, and write clear repair instructions for the technician.

You will provide labor and parts estimates, secure payments, and ensure fast, friendly service using Quick Lane processes. Ideal candidates bring a professional appearance, basic computer skills, and the ability to work under

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and obtain customer and vehicle data.
• Determine service needs and consult vehicle file. Promote labor, parts, and accessories.
• Write clear repair instructions on the repair order for the technician.
• Provide labor and parts estimates; if cost cannot be established, keep open and confirm with customer.
• Establish payment method and secure customer signature on RO.
• Follow Quick Lane processes to ensure satisfaction and efficient service.
• Other duties as assigned by business needs.

Automotive Quick Lube Advisor

Company: Apple Autos

Compensation: $42,000.00-$80,000.00

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers, obtain customer and vehicle data.
• Determine nature of desired service and/or complaint. Consult vehicle file. Promote the sales of labor, parts, and accessories without losing sight of the fact that you are a quick lane advisor to the customer.
• Write clear and precise repair instructions on the repair order for the technician.
• Provide estimate for labor and parts. If cost of service cannot be established during reception, leave open and contact customer for approval.
• Establish method of payment when writing up the repair order with the customer, also time promised. Obtain customer’s signature on RO.
• Utilizes Quick Lane processes and policies to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient and effective service operations.
• Responsible for other duties assigned and/or required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous light duty repair and maintenance preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass preemployment drug test and background check.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle pressure.
