Job summary

Apple Autos is seeking an Automotive Quick Lube Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle data and determine service needs. You will write clear repair instructions, provide labor and parts estimates, and secure approvals while promoting appropriate labor, parts and accessories.

You’ll use Quick Lane processes to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly service experience. Benefits include competitive pay, flexible hours, advancement opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous light duty repair and maintenance preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass preemployment drug test and background check.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect customer and vehicle data.
• Determine the service needs and consult vehicle file; promote labor, parts, and accessories.
• Write clear repair instructions on the repair order for the technician.
• Provide labor and parts estimates; follow up with customer for approval when needed.
• Establish payment method and secure customer signature on RO.
• Follow Quick Lane processes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service.

Compensation: $42000.00 - $72,000.00 based on experience

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers, obtain customer and vehicle data.
• Determine nature of desired service and/or complaint. Consult vehicle file. Promote the sales of labor, parts, and accessories without losing sight of the fact that you are a quick lane advisor to the customer.
• Write clear and precise repair instructions on the repair order for the technician.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts. If the cost of service cannot be established during reception, leave open and contact customer for approval.
• Establish method of payment when writing up the repair order with the customer, also time promised. Obtain customer’s signature on RO.
• Utilizes Quick Lane processes and policies to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient and effective service operations.
• Responsible for other duties assigned and/or required by business needs.
