Job summary

Inalfa Roof Systems Group B.V. is seeking a Quality Engineer II to maintain quality and integrity of products across programs, ensuring proper control plans and diagnosing defects.

You will support customers on existing and new programs and drive continuous improvement with a strong quality mindset. The role requires 2–5 years in automotive quality, supervisory experience, and knowledge of IATF16949/ISO14001/ISO45001 standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (minimum 4 years).
  • 2–5 years of automotive quality experience.
  • 2 years minimum inspection layout experience.
  • 2–5 years of supervisory experience.
  • ASQC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review production lines to assure proper use of control plans and process sheets.
  • Diagnose defective material rejected during manufacturing process.
  • Identify the need for corrective action and implement improvements.
  • Provide customer support on existing and new programs.
  • Promote team concepts and participate in teams.
  • Assist in maintaining IATF16949/ISO standards.

Summary

Responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the products assigned in order to meet customer’s needs and Inalfa’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reviews production lines to assure proper use of control plans and process sheet
  • Reviews and diagnosis defective material rejected during manufacturing process
  • Identify the need for corrective action
  • Provide customer support on existing programs and new programs
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others to motivate and elicit work output
  • Assist in maintaining IATF16949 status
  • Track and manage measures assigned in the plant
  • Practice and promote safe work practices throughout the plant
  • Promote team concepts and participate in teams
  • Understand and follow Inalfa policies and practices and any other legal requirements
  • Must be an active participant in achieving and maintaining quality goals and continuous improvement activities
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise quality auditors, carries our supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policy and applicable laws.

IATF16949/ISO14001/ISO45001 Responsibilities

The IATF16949/ISO14001/ISO45001 responsibilities listed below are required for this position. Other responsibilities may be added, with or without notice in writing, at any time. Adhere to all IATF16949 (Quality)/ISO45001 (Health and Safety)/ISO14001 (Environmental) procedures as related to the Quality department function.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 year Bachelor Degree
  • 2-5 years experience in automotive quality
  • 2 years minimum inspection layout experience
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience
  • ASQC Certification preferred
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
