Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers. The role involves assisting store management, supporting professional customers, and handling cash and returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and promoting related items. Occasional driving for deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desirable: Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
• Answer store phones, look up parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
• Process cash/credit transactions and handle exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a courteous manner.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, stock, and inventory tasks.
• Perform in-store services such as wipers, batteries, and headlight replacement where allowed.
