Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. You will greet customers, promote service programs, assist with parts selections, and handle transactions with accuracy and care.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role also involves stocking, planogram updates, and routine daily operations to ensure a clean, organized store and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Process cash, checks, credit card transactions and returns according to policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain store image, planograms, and perform stocking, fronting and facing.
• Perform daily operational tasks including returns, stock counts, and shipments to the distribution center.
• Operate brake lathe and other equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (install wipers, test batteries, diagnose codes, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
