Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts Indianapolis is seeking a Parts Specialist who will be the face of our store, helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts and advice at the counter or over the phone. You don’t need to teardown engines, but you should bring strong parts knowledge and a passion for delivering great customer service.

You will use a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system to find parts, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions.
• Experience in automotive parts or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Valid driver’s license and HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and positive store interactions.
• Engage customers to ensure a positive consumer experience.
