O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers and to support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key duties include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, serving professional customers, processing transactions, and handling exchanges/returns in line with policy. The role also supports image updates, inventory tasks, and occasional vehicle deliveries.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store phones per policy, look up parts, quote prices, and offer related items with Low-Price Guarantee.
• Handle cash drawer, accept payments, and process credit card transactions accurately.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints politely.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight, stocking, and fronting.
• Perform daily operations like returns to distribution center and inventory tasks.
• Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services where allowed (wipers, batteries, codes, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle per business need.
